Getting to Hurakabra

Hurakabra River Resort sits on the west bank of the Essequibo River, about 30 miles from Parika. 

MOST COMMON ROUTE

Georgetown → Parika → Hurakabra

The easiest and most common way to reach Hurakabra is by road to Parika, followed by a private speedboat directly to the resort.

Georgetown Guyana Transportation

1. Georgetown to Parika

Travel by road from Georgetown to Hubu, Parika (~1 hour).

Parika Guyana Transportation to Bartica

→

2. Parika to Hurakabra

Continue up the Essequibo by private boat transfer (~40 mins).
